Working with us

Our staff and volunteers are the lifeblood of Dignity. Without you, we cannot provide the exceptional, compassionate and responsive care our patients and families deserve. Just as we are serious about doing the right thing for our patients and families, we are also committed to providing a supportive working environment for our staff and volunteers. We are all coming together to fulfill life’s journey, and you have an important role to play.

Just as Dignity wants to change the perception – and experience – of hospice care, we also want to change the experience of working in hospice through a culture of mutual respect and support. We are a place where you are valued, and where you can demonstrate your passion, gifts and talents to the benefit of patients, families and your co-workers. Our goal is to be true to our Texas roots with our culture – we are authentic, laid back and personable, and we encourage our staff and volunteers to bring their joy for what they do to work, each and every day.

If this sounds like the right place for you, we’d love to hear from you. Please review our current opportunities and get in touch with us.

Volunteer Training

Volunteers make a difference. will you?

Would you consider being someone’s angel? That is what a hospice volunteer is. being a volunteer means you have the opportunityto journey with someonegoing through a difficult time. You can be of help and encouragement to a patient and their family by doing the little things to say ” you are not alone”.No one can encourage better than someone who has already journeyed that road.  Come to be trained.

All volunteers must be able to pass the background check. To register for the training, please call Dr.Bill Lundy  (972) 997-5941.
